Summer Missions Trips!
MAP

MAP 2009 / Gull Lake Ministries

A more local adventure, this years MAP trip promises to be a good time for all.  We will be going out to Gull Lake Ministries on August 8-14th and engaging in all kinds of work projects, as well as getting a feel for some of their camp life!

MAP 2008 / Appalachian Bible College

Last summer We took a great trip to West Virginia and the Appalachian Bible College was another great trip.  We painted a 250 foot stadium deck, and painted two cabins, and a portion of a third.  Also we did a great deal of landscaping all over their beautiful southern campus.  We also had a day of white water rafting!  Photos!

MAP 2006 / Honey Rock Camp
In the summer of 2006 we took a trip to the great north woods of Wisconsin to Honey Rock Camp and cleared an entire forest!  Well, that is a little bit of an exaggeration, but we did clear out a big piece of their property of dead limbs and brush, used a wood chipper, and also used those wood chips all over their camp!  Great times, good work!

MAP 2010 / Jungle Jump Off (2)
A return to the jungles of Illinois, sleeping in champas, warming water to shower, living with buckets, trying to learn some linguistics, and learning about missions.  Join us for an adventure with Wycliffe Bible Translators summer experience.  August 2010

MAP 2007 / Sussex, New Jersey
Our summer 07 trip to rural New jersy with Hope Evangelical Free Church and their pastor Paulo Friere was a wonderful experience for all.  We wrote, organized, and held a Soccer Camp VBS that was a big hit in their community.  We also did some "vertical gardening" at Tri State Bible Camp.

MAP 2005 / Jungle Jump Off
What can be said.  Our first and now classic trip to Wycliffe's Jungle Jump Off Missions Boot camp in Illinois.  We learned much about the missions venture and were challenged in many ways:  We made our own food, boiled our own water (for cooking and for bathing), became very familiar with buckets!
